The Amazing Healing Tool of EFT

First, identify a problem that is bothering you, such as a physical pain, an uncomfortable emotion or negative thought. On a scale from 0-10, with 10 being the most intense, measure the intensity of your problem. Now you can begin the Shortcut Recipe of EFT. You don't have to believe this for it to work! Say the statements out loud if possible.
1. Karate Chop Point. Before tapping, develop a Set Up Statement. This is your problem plus an affirmation: Even though I have this [say your problem here], I deeply and completely accept myself. Repeat this sentence 3 times as you tap with several fingers on the Karate Chop Point. This is the fleshy outside part of your hand between the base of your little finger and the top of your wrist. You can tap with either hand. (For example: Even though I'm angry at my boss for firing me, I deeply and completely accept myself.)
2. The Sequence begins with the Eyebrow point. Tap with a couple of fingers at the beginning of one of your eyebrows near your nose. As you tap through the Sequence, you will repeat the problem part of the Setup Phrase, such as: I'm angry at my boss for firing me.
3. Side of the Eye. Tap with a few fingers on the bone at the outside corner of either eye.
4. Under the Eye. Tap with a few fingers under either eye on the bone.
5. Under the Nose. Tap with a few fingers under your nose.
6. Chin. Tap with several fingers midway between your lower lip and bottom of your chin.
7. Collarbone. To locate this point, put a finger in the hollow of your throat. Move down an inch and then over an inch in either direction. It is just beneath the beginning of the collarbone. Tap here with a couple of fingers.
8. Under the Arm. Tap beneath either arm, about 4 inches down from the armpit. For women, it is where the bra lies.
9. Inner Wrist. Tap the inner wrists together or tap with a few fingers on the inner wrist of one arm.
10. The Top of the Head. Moving up from the top of both ears, you will be at the top of your head. Tap this spot with several fingers.
You have now completed one round of the Shortcut Recipe. This takes about one minute. Focus in on your problem now and rate the intensity again using the 1 to 10 scale (10 being the most intense). Repeat the whole recipe until the intensity of your problem is reduced or eliminated. This may take 3-5 rounds of tapping or more. Persistence pays! Consult Ann if your numbers do not go down.
